If there is one thing that must be mentioned without being favorable to synthetic worms is that they are mostly used when fishing in clear waters. You are therefore limited in what you can do with them but seeing that bass usually bite when you use them you should never forget to have a few with you.
The waters you′ll be fishing have something to say when it comes to the fishing technique you will employ. The size of the fish its feeding habits as well as whether or not it puts up a fight have a lot to do with the actual specifications of the rod and reel. As for the frequency of use it goes without saying that utilizing a combo quite often means that it has to be durable above all. Don′t forget to look at the bait or lure you will be using as its weight has a lot to do with selecting the proper setup.
The rod tapers from one end to the other. The degree of taper determines how much the rod will flex when stress is applied to it. Slower rods are easier to cast. A wider loop on the forward cast reduces casting distance.
